Abstract

Islam is a complete code of life from Almighty Allah having the universal message for whole of humanity. The “Khutbah Hajjatul Wida (The Last Sermon of Prophet PBUH) presented by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is not only a complete code of life for Muslim Ummah but it contains about the every right and principles of human lives. The Holly Quran and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (BPUH) and His Universal Manifesto values and cares about human life irrespective of their ideologies, race and creeds but today it is forgotten. Today the Muslim Ummah has been facing numerous problems and suffering only due to that they have forgotten about the importance of This Universal Manifesto of Islam. The Ummah is shattered and divided into different groups and sects, only because of the forgotten message and this act of division is the main cause of their sufferings. Ummah‘s sufferings are only due to the forgotten lesson of articles of the Last Sermon of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and His teaching. The entire society is dominated by the curse of lust and revenge and honors of people are on stack, social life is endangered by corruption and pillaging, Muslim Ummah became prominence in terrorism. Thus, it can be appreciated that Islamic viewpoint on social equality, brotherhood, individual liberty and mutual cooperation is a guiding light for Ummah as reflected from this last public sermon by Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) adopting these would pave a way for a just-full political, and social system. This could be achieved only collaboration of materialism and mysticism so that progress and prosperity of Ummah may be made possible.
