Abstract
Ways to implement the state policy priorities for the preservation and strengthening of traditional Russian values by means of education and upbringing of the younger generations are presented in the monograph. The familiarization of students with traditional Russian values is considered as a scientific problem at the methodological, theoretical and methodological levels. Traditional Russian values are revealed as the axiological basis of modern education, upbringing and socialization of students. The conditions for designing the educational space and the content of the joint activities of children and adults as a modern socio-cultural technology are presented. Based on the system of traditional spiritual and moral ideals and values of Russian culture, the structure of interrelated areas of educational and socio-cultural activities is revealed. The book substantiates current tasks, defines modern approaches and social practices for the formation of students' moral values, a value attitude to national history and culture, work, science, education, nature, ideas about ethnocultural values and traditions of the peoples of Russia, readiness for independent choice in favor of the spiritual and moral values of Russian culture. The monograph is addressed to a wide range of specialists in the field of education and upbringing of children and youth: researchers and practicing teachers, university professors and students, heads of educational organizations and specialists in the field of education management, organizers of the activities of children's and youth public organizations.
