Abstract
The aim of the study was to identify new approaches to rehabilitation in the field of health care in accordance with the legislation of 2020; to define measures of response to them by authorities and providers of rehabilitation assistance.Materials and methods: regulatory documents (7 units), methods of a systematic approach, comparative and content analysis, modeling.Results. The state policy and strategies of rehabilitation in the field of health care have been determined; for the first time, the beginning of rehabilitation from the acute period of the disease was declared. A list of rehabilitation specialists is presented and the concept of multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams is introduced with the possibility of involving doctors of any specialty. The quality of rehabilitation assistance should be ensured by using an individual rehabilitation plan and evidence-based technologies. The list of specialized rehabilitation institutions has been expanded. Structural units for rehabilitation in tertiary, secondary and primary health care have been identified. Sources of financing for rehabilitation assistance are presented.Conclusions. Compliance with the new legal requirements requires additional thematic training of doctors of all clinical specialties in rehabilitation and the creation of conditions for the functioning of multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams in health care institutions.Key words: legislation, health care rehabilitation, rehabilitation specialists, rehabilitation institutions.
