Abstract

The proposed article dwells upon the topicality of the issue of social workers’ professional training as a precondition for initiation and modernization of the social sphere, introducing new standards of professional activity etc. In this context, there is a need to update the paradigm of professional training designed to bring it as close aspossible to social practice; to fulfill society’s demands, to implement best international experience in social work and to use modern educational technologies, innovative,practice oriented forms and methods of teaching. The article highlights the main tasks of the training system for future social workers, which presupposes that students master the concept of partnership, its forms and methods of implementation in various social life spheres etc., the components of a new model of a professional represented through the professional communicative competence (motivational and evaluative, personal and professional, gnostic and technological, and functional and role components of it), readiness for professional activity, and the complex of professionally important qualities. Concurrently, the author proposes a number of perspective ways to restructure educational process (in particular, methods and forms of interactive learning, situational modeling, discussion, polemics, game and design technology etc.). The publication reveals the conditions for optimizing the process of preparation to partner interaction among which there is a systematic approach to the formation of professional and communicative competence as a pledge of constructive dialogue, consistent mastering of different professional communication strategies; consecutive communicative development according to the scheme: internal motivation formation – executive actions – assessment of achievements (reflection) – corrective actions, the usage of active learning methods in the educational process; the professional orientation of the process of future social workers’ communicative competence formation; the use of intrinsic and interdisciplinary connections etc.
