Abstract

The main problems of structures dynamic calculation using earthquake accelerograms are analyzed. The problems of setting design accelerograms, modeling rigidity and damping structure properties, as well as substantiating the seismic resistance criteria of structures are considered. The design seismic action generated for the structure and for the construction site is considered. Requirements are formulated for the accelerogram digitization and for the number of design accelerograms for a construction site, sufficient for assessing the structure seismic resistance. The difficulties of constructing design accelerograms and taking into account in calculations the accumulation of damage in a structure during seismic vibrations are indicated. It is noted, that calculations using accelerograms of strong earthquakes can be easily made only for structures with given parameters of limit states. For linear calculations, the problem of taking the system damping into account is analyzed. The criteria for limit states limiting the work of plastic deformation forces and the damageability of a structure are considered.
