Abstract

UDC 338.47+656.1; JEL Classification М 190Purpose. The purpose of this study is to justify the feasibility of integrating a separate structural unit for managing economic security at the enterprise. Methodology of research. The methodological basis of the work is the scientific works of outstanding scientists and materials from periodicals. During the study, a logical analysis method was used to substantiate the place of the economic security management unit in the organizational structure of the enterprise. Findings. The paper analyzes the process of creation and effective functioning of the organizational structure of a motor transport enterprise. The need to ensure the economic security of the enterprise is determined, which will require a review of its organizational structure to create a new relevant unit. The analysis regarding the emergence of a new function for managing economic security revealed the need to create a new functional unit for its implementation, or to extend the authority to perform this function to one of the existing units of the enterprise. Originality. The proposed organizational structure allows the trucking company to carry out its production activities, and the serving functional units to create conditions for its effective implementation. The place of the economic security unit at the highest level of the hierarchy allows you to receive timely and complete information about the functioning of the units and the results of the enterprise as a whole, as well as empowers the unit’s specialist to directly influence the main specialists of the service and production units in the direction of adjusting their activities in order to increase their level economic security, which is determined by the general manager and owner. Practical value. The article defines the place of the economic security management unit in the organizational structure of a motor transport enterprise. The analysis of organizational structures for managing enterprises in the automotive industry, as well as the feasibility of creating a unit for managing the economic security of the enterprise.
