Abstract

Xinjiang is a region where many ethnic groups live together, and the ideological and political education plays a prominent role in primary and secondary schools. In the context of “Nourishing the Cultures of Xinjiang”, this study explores use the multi-ethnic music resources and music education as a medium to seek to maximize the impact of music teaching on the ideological and political development of primary and secondary school students in Xinjiang. The aim is to form correct values, promote positive social energy, foster ethnic unity, and enhance cultural confidence.
