Abstract

In a modern metropolis, the location of energy facilities near residential areas is the main reason for exceeding sanitary standards. One of the sources of noise in thermal power plants is gas pipelines after gas distribution points. The urgency of the problem lies in the fact that the excess noise level can reach several tens of decibels at the outlet of the gas pipeline from the gas distribution building, as well as along the entire length of the gas pipeline. To reduce noise from the gas pipeline, it is possible to use sound insulation of gas pipelines, as well as acoustic barriers. It is shown that only the integrated use of sound insulation of gas pipelines and acoustic barriers can provide the necessary noise reduction. The article proposes a new method of feasibility study that allows you to develop measures to reduce noise from gas pipelines after gas distribution points to sanitary standards at the lowest cost while using acoustic screens and sound insulation of gas pipelines.
