Abstract
The guidelines outline the basic concepts of the theory of errors, methods of statistical processing of measurement results, as well as examples of calculating errors for a number of special cases. The guidelines are intended for full-time, part-time and part-time students studying in bachelor's degree courses 05.03.06 "Ecology and nature management", 08.03.01 "Construction", 13.03.02 "Electric power and electrical engineering", 20.03.01 "Technosphere safety", 20.03.02 "Environmental management and water use", 23.03.03 "Operation of transport and technological machines and complexes", 35.03.06 "Agroengineering", 35.03.11 "Hydro-reclamation" in the Russian State Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev.
