Abstract
These days, learning by video is active in learning environment. However, despite its high applicability, relevant research has rarely implemented. Educational video without interactivity would not result in effective learning because the interactivity enhances engagement and participation. Thus this study researched interaction-enhancing strategies for educational video by analyzing advanced research and by proposing new methods, aiming development of effective Educational video system. Above all, the interaction strategies are extracted from relevant studies. They are categorized according to the property into communication, navigation, simulation, game, information input, meaningful information, additional information, length of video, video control and unpredictable stimuli. Then practical ways of strategies and new ways are presented. I expect to enhance effectiveness of learning with educational video by selectively applying suitable strategies to learning objective, learners' property and educational environment.
