Abstract

The research objectives are as follows: to identify the place of spatial-temporal continuum in literary text architectonics, to reveal the role of these categories for expressing national worldview. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that the researcher proposes a hypothesis on influence of pre-religious (shamanistic) and religious (Buddhist) views on the modern Buryat writer Sergei Dorzhiev’s creative work, whose literary texts have not been previously investigated in this aspect. The writer’s creativity is for the first time analysed through the lens of spatial-temporal relations. The research findings are as follows: the author shows that S. Dorzhiev’s stories artistically represent the Buryat people’s traditional world model.
