Abstract
This catalogue presents the data obtained while studying oat accessions from the VIR collection in 2014–2019 in the fields of the Kuban Experiment Station of VIR to identify sources of useful agronomic traits for oat breeding in Krasnodar Territory and other regions of Russia. The materials for the research were 307 new oat accessions from 31 foreign countries and 15 regions of the Russian Federation, added to the VIR collection in recent years. The study concentrated on the following characters: duration of the growing season, plant height, resistance to lodging, resistance to crown and stem rust, leafiness, productive bushiness, number of productive panicles per 1 m2, 1000 grain weight, panicle length, number of spikelets in a panicle, number of grains in a panicle, grain weight per panicle, grain weight per plant, and grain weight per 1 m2. The catalogue is addressed to plant physiology and plant breeding experts as well as to lecturers and students of biological and agricultural universities and colleges.
