Abstract
One of the urgent problems of Russian forest cartography is the transition to electronic document management. The purpose of the study is to test the methodology of geoinformation mapping of for-estry using mobile technologies. Technological solutions have been developed that contribute to the most effective application of the methodology of geoinformation mapping of forestry using mobile technologies. In the course of the study, the developed methodology and technological solutions were tested in the process of creating forest planning and cartographic products. The article presents the main results of the evaluation, as well as the analysis of the errors and labor productivity identified during editorial control. According to the results of the study, it was concluded that the proposed methodology of geoinformation mapping of forestry with the use of mobile technologies, which includes a method for forming and displaying geo-knowledge, since it allows expanding the range of planned cartographic products for solving the tasks of forestry enterprises, as well as reducing time and labor costs at the desk stage of forest management and reducing the total time spent for forest management by almost a quarter.
