신문 사설에 나타난 사립학교 관련 주요어 분석

Abstract

이 연구는 사학 관련 현상을 이해하고 사학 정책에 대한 시사점을 제시하기 위하여, 보수언론과 진보언론의 신문 사설에 대한 네트워크 텍스트 분석을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신문 사설에서 사학은 사립대학과 관련된 이슈가 많고 사립초 중등학교와 사립대학 간에 구별되는 쟁점이 있음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 신문 사설에서 등록금과 재정 지원, 자율형사립고와 같은 새로운 사학의 확대 등과 관련된 '조장적 관점'과 분규 문제 사학의 퇴출과 같은 '통제적 관점'이 모두 나타나고 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로, 사학에 대한 관점은 과거의 프레임에서 벗어나 교육기관의 '책무성'과 이를 위한 '학교 역량 구축'이라는 기준으로 재정립할 필요가 있음을 제시하였다. This study aims to understand the phenomenon related to private schools and present the implication for policy about private school, network text analysis about newspaper editorials in conservative and progressive media was conducted. The main results are as follows. First, in newspaper editorials, there were many issues about private university and there was a distinction between private elementary secondary school and private university. Second, in newspaper editorials, 'encouraging perspective' such as financial assistance and new private school like self-governing private high school and 'controlling perspective' such as withdrawal of problem private schools were both appeared. As a result, this study presents that the perspective for private schools needs to be re-established by 'accountability' as the educational institution and 'school capacity building' away from the past frame.
