Abstract

The aim of the study is to identify the relationship of interactive competence and value orientations of technical college students. Research methods – testing on the basis of test questionnaires: “Diagnosis of perceptual-interactive competence N.P. Fetiskin”; “Diagnostics of the real structure of value orientations of a person” (S. S. Bubnova). The empirical base of the study is 350 students of Moscow Technical University. In the course of the correlation analysis, a number of interrelations between the components of interactive competence and value orientations of students of a technical college were revealed. The higher the degree of adequacy of the assessment of personal characteristics of partners in interaction (mutual understanding), the more important are communication, love, respect for people and at the same time the importance of the ability to influence others and manage others, high social status and health increases. The higher the personality’s ability to understand the point of view of a communication partner and the desire to present one’s own point of view for evaluation and understanding by others (mutual understanding), the more important for such a person are health, love, communication with other people, at the same time respect and recognition from others, influence and management of people, high social status. The higher the degree of significance of the manifestations of others, the ability to regulate their own behavior and the ability to self-analyze a person (mutual influence), the more significant are love, help and mercy in others, communication, health, knowledge of the new in the world, nature, man, high social status and managing people, recognizing and respecting people and influencing others, social activism to achieve positive changes in society. The higher the significance of the personal position in joint activities (social autonomy), the more significant the cognition of the surrounding reality, compassion and help to people and less importantly pleasant pastime, rest. The higher the satisfaction with their position in the group, the orientation towards flexibility of behavior and contact within and outside the team (social adaptability), the more significant are love, high social status and management of people, recognition and respect of people and influence on others, social activity for achieving positive changes in society, health. The higher the focus on the effectiveness of joint activities (social activity), the more significant are the search and enjoyment of the beautiful, help and mercy for other people, love, high social status and management of people, recognition and respect of people and influence on others; communication, health. Thus, value orientations are an important component of enhancing online competence.
