Abstract

The electric double layer was studied by impedance spectroscopy on the surface of various composite materials: molybdenum, tantalum and niobium carbides in 1 M sodium sulfate solution and concentrated hydrogen peroxide solution. The data on the activation energy of the electrocatalytic decomposition of hydrogen peroxide on the surface of composite materials were compared with the capacity of the electrical double layer in hydrogen peroxide solution.
