Abstract

The issue of improving air combat (IAC) combat use of military personnel from different countries has been constantly receiving and receiving considerable attention, as evidenced by the experience of their use in local wars and conflicts. There, the question arises of the detection of IAC by various means of exploration with a view to their further destruction. Intelligence is an important type of combat (action) for the air defense unit, it is organized and conducted in all types of combat (action) in two directions. The first area is to obtain information on the air enemy required by the commander of the Air Defense Unit to make an informed decision on the preparation and effective use of his unit in combat. To achieve this goal, based on information received from various sources, the task of predicting the scale and nature of the air enemy's combat operations and their impact on the combat mission of the Air Defense Subdivision, as well as determining the possible design of the air enemy's action in striking them, may be solved. The second direction of air enemy reconnaissance is the continuous and timely provision of air defense commander units command points, which are necessary for their timely transfer to higher levels of readiness and effective fire control in the air raid of the enemy. This paper addresses the issues of the purpose, basics of combat use of air defense units , which are armed with short-range anti-aircraft complexes; forces, facilities and capabilities for conducting air enemy reconnaissance units of air defense air units, air enemy reconnaissance procedures (air defense reconnaissance units) in the air defense subdivisions, which allows to evaluate the expected results of air defense reconnaissance, as well as to determine ways to increase the effectiveness of air enemy reconnaissance operations in air defense air defense subdivisions, which are armed with short-range anti-aircraft complexes in the area of the joint forces operation in different conditions of the situation.
