Abstract
Introduction Offshore marine deposits development requires a fairly high material and technical costs. Aims and Objectives It is necessary to optimize systems for gathering, preparing and transportation of oil and gas, finding new technological solutions leading to cost minimization, maintaining a high level of reliability and security; to analyze the field «White Tiger» transport processes in the most responsible length of the pipeline for the purpose of monitoring and prevention to reduce bandwidth or stop the pipeline. Results It was revealed that various thickness asphalt, resin and paraffin material deposits (ARPM) layer is formed in the pipes inner surface in the absence of the thermal insulation on the pipes outer surface. Appearance of such a layer (ARPM) in the pipes inner surface changes thermal-hydraulic characteristics of pipeline and leads to decrease of discharge capacity. Pipeline average parameters research for various periods of time shows that the separation pressure in the oil separator after the implementation of the technology pump-free pumping remains stable and varies between 9.0 ... 10.0 atm, which does not adversely impact on the work of borehole. Conclusion Pump-free oil transportation might simplify the technological scheme of deposit «White Tiger» preparation on the northern offshore stationary latforms using oil and gas separator as a slug catcher.
