Abstract

The article gives the basic scientific views on the interpretation of the term discourse, its categories and types. The main categories are: constitutive (thematic, stylistic and structural unity); genre and stylistic (stylistic affiliation availability of cliche); content (targeting, information, ability to interpretation); formal-structural (composition, division, cohesion). The article is based on the typology of A. Sheyhal, which identified institutional and individually oriented discourses. Particular attention is paid to religious discourse. We give the description of components of religious discourse which include: members-space, purpose, values, strategies, material types and genres, case texts, discursive formula. Religious discourse goal is to attract the faith within the same denomination. The main objectives of religious communication, clarifying its main goal, include: getting support from God; purification of the soul; neighbors call to repentance; explanation of doctrine; awareness through the ritual of his belonging to a particular denomination. In the religious discourse the main strategies are the one. Which directly related to the impact on the recipient, his model of the world system of values and its behavior. In the religious discourse appropriate to allocate primary and secondary language genres. The primary concern: parables, psalms and prayers as individual typed samples of structural and semantic models and values. For secondary language attribute genres, which is kind interpretation and modification of the primary religious designs are texts of Scripture, preaching, confession. As discursive formula in religious communication adopted, cliches and functionally caused turnovers, which clearly define the type of discourse (Brothers and sisters, Birth of Christ, Son of God, the holy church).
