Abstract
The article analyzes the second novel "Bakshi and Genghis Khan" by the writer Arslan Koychiev, which entered the Kyrgyz prose after gaining independence. Further, the article discusses the history of writing a novel, literary influence in fiction, the system of images, the difficulties of creating an artistic character. As we know, before writing the novel, before entering the topic of Genghis Khan, the writer was well acquainted with the works written before him, but his main goal was to describe the slavery of the descendants of Jochi, who were not mentioned by other writers. In addition, Arslan Koychiev tried to create the true character of his time - the image of characters with different social views, because he best understood the literary problem of an artistic nature.
