Abstract

In this article sexual behavior of a modern person is considered as a social strategy with more or less restric¬tions, primarily in the number of sexual partners. The study of sexual behavior has been carried out based on the SOI-R methodology, which has been translated into Russian and validated on the Russian sample (492 people). The result of the survey has confirmed the factorial validity of the SOI-R, and three factors were high¬lighted: the factor of sexual behavior, beliefs about the acceptability of unlimited sexual behavior and fantasiz¬ing about sex. For each of these factors there are data in the Russian population sample of men and women, as well as in different age groups. The conclusions are that the indicators of unrestricted sexual behavior in mod¬ern Russian culture are high both in behavior, and in the area of beliefs and fantasies about sex. The results of comparative analysis with the data for German-speaking population showed that for the Russian -speaking population there are less limitations related to sexual behavior. Unlimited sexual behavior in the context of this and previous studies is considered by the authors as a phenomenon of modern culture, which is a threat to men¬tal well-being of a person and requires a special clinical social psychology study.
