Abstract

Prior art. The problem of social adaptation is one of the most important for Russian and foreign scientific literature. However, unconscious psychological behavior determinants which define the features of social adaptation are still poorly studied. A research was conducted to reveal the indicators of personality’s interior proneness to conflict which creates psychological predispositions for adaptation or deadaptation of personality. Method of research: Szondi test. Results. The formula and class of attractions defined by the Szondi method have a special degree of expression. The analysis of such attractions allows to reveal the most important predispositions for interior disagreement and proneness to conflict which have an influence on the processes of adaptation and deadaptation of individuals in the groups under study. The result of the conducted research was detection of special features in each of the four examined age groups. This fact indicates the features of conflict symptomatology in each of the studied groups. Conclusion. The research shows that in every age period and in every age group there is a certain predisposition which includes the sum of unconscious psychological factors. These factors determine the possibilities and directions of individual’s social and psychological adaptation or deadaptation to modern life conditions.
