Abstract
This study was attempted to examine the effects of various socio-psychological factors related to the quality of life as an ultimate purpose of dance sports. For example of this study, total 365 subjects of 180 over 18-year-old female and male participant in dance sports from commercial sports facilities, public sports facilities and university located in Jeonllabuk-Do province were sampled as experimental group and 185 female and male non-participants in dance sports in the neighboring areas were sampled as control group. The questionnaire were applied following standardization or testing of varidity and confidence and the effects of factors were verified by covariance analysis, multiple regression analysis. Finding of this study derived from the above process are as follows; First, it was revealed that the participants and non-participants in dance sports showed significant difference in flow experience and the quality of life, the participants had higher flow experience, and quality of life than the non- participants. Second, it was found that participation in dance sports affected flow experience, and the frequency of participation in dance sports activity had a positive influence on flow experience. Third, it was found that participation in dance sports affected the quality of life, and the frequency of participation in dance sports activity had a positive influence on quality of life.
