Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the psycholinguistic features of the formation and functioning of modern nominative metaphors in the political Internet discourse. The most frequently used metaphors in social networks “Twitter”, “Facebook” and online diary service “Live Journal” are considered in the context of coverage of confrontation between Russia and the West.
