Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the conscience for collegiate golf players. Surveys with questionnaires were done from male and female college students who majoring in golf teaching at K University and these questionnaires included sense of values, motivation of applying golf major, level of satisfaction of collegiate golf players. Frequency analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA were performed using the outcomes from the questionnaire by SPSS 14.0 program. The results were as follows. 1. There were significant differences in gender(p.05). In there, there were significant differences in self value(p.05). Female(m=3.92) had higher than male(3.64). There were significant differences in points of view of grade(freshman, sophomore, junior, senior)(p.05). Totality, junior was highly values(m=3.79). There were significant differences in year(p.01). Totality, group of more than 25 years was high(m=3.92). 2. There were no significant differences in points of view of golf career. But there were significant differences in self value of golf career(p.05). Group of more than 11 years of golf career was highest(m=4.28). There were no significant differences in social value of golf fees(p.05). 3. There were no significant differences in motive of entering the course of demographical traits. There were no significant differences in motive of entering the course of golf career but there were significant differences in motive of entering the course of extrinsic motivation(p.05). There were significant differences in motive of entering the course of handicap(p.05) 4. There were no significant differences in level of satisfaction with their major of gender. But there were significant differences in level of satisfaction with their major of grade(p.01). There were significant differences in level of satisfaction with their major of year(p.05). There were significant differences in level of satisfaction with their major of monthly income(p.05). 5. There were significant differences in level of satisfaction with their major of golf career(p.05). There were significant differences in stability of school(p.05) and schoolwork atmosphere(p.01). There were significant differences in level of satisfaction with their major of golf fee(p.05).
