Abstract
In the article there were classified regions of Ukraine based on the volumes of harmful emissions into the atmosphere from stationary sources of pollution. Kay sources of air pollution within main branches of industry were identified. The content of harmful substances thrown into the air by industrial enterprises was analised. The amount of environmental charges and ways of implementation of protection measures for air were stated.
