Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the degree of self-leadership, empathyability, and major satisfaction of college students, and to identify the relationship andinfluencing factors between variables. The subjects of this study were 368 college students inthe metropolitan area, and for data analysis, frequency analysis and descriptive statisticsanalysis were conducted with the IBM SPSS 25.0 program, and multiple regression analysiswas conducted. As a result of this study, self-leadership, empathy ability, and majorsatisfaction differed according to gender, age, and grade, and self-leadership, empathy ability, and major satisfaction had a positive correlation. In addition, as a result of examining theinfluence of college students' self-leadership and empathy ability on major satisfaction byconducting multiple regression analysis, it was found that empathy and self-leadership had asignificant effect on major satisfaction. Through the results of this study, in order to increasethe satisfaction of college students in their major, it is necessary to develop and applyprograms that can improve self-leadership and empathy.
