Abstract

Sharing the main proposals contained in the article, the author notes the need to consider when making changes to the training programs of economists the fact that economic theory itself is in a state of crisis today. In these conditions, it is very important to build curricula in such a way that they give students a clear idea of the current state of general theory, demonstrate the possibilities and limitations of various currents of economic science. The need to maintain a high level of teaching of micro- and macroeconomics, which give a clear idea of the main functional relationships in a market economy, is emphasized.
