Abstract

The article considers stages of formation and development of the theory of innovative development of the economy. The article is focused on development of ideas about the paradigm of innovation theory. The evolution of the economic theory of different concepts of innovative development of the economy is studied. In this regard technological growth in different concepts is considered as a key factor of improving the organization of production. The genesis of theories of influence of technological development on the economy of the state is considered starting from the classics of economic theory A. Smith, D. Ricardo, J.S. Mill, J.B. Say. The special role of Karl Marx in the development of ideas about influence of technological progress on the society and the economy is emphasized. A specific approach of such representatives of neoclassical economic theory as W. S. Jevons, L. Walras, J. B. Clark, I. Fisher, A. Marshall, A. Pigou in determining the factors affecting the economic development is formulated. New approaches of the theories of economic, technological development are connected with the introduction of macroeconomic theory by J. M. Keynes. Special attention is paid to contribution of the founder of evolutionary economics as a section of economic theory J. Schumpeter, who for the first time singled out the term “innovation”, deepened the concept of “economic development”. The place of representatives of the economic thought of XX c., focused on technological and economic development (R. Solow, J. Bernal, A. Alchian, B. Lundvall, C. Freeman, R. Nelson, S. Glaziev, A. Dagaev, D. Lvov, G. Fetisov) is specified.
