Abstract

The purpose of this study is to statistically examine the degree to which an inducement to host the Mega Sports Events has influence on conflict between local communities, a coordination effect, and full support. This study has chosen DaeGu and InCheon Provinces, where there has been serious conflict over an inducement to host the Mega Sports Events. The participants of this study are 480 male and female adults who have lived in the provinces for more than 1 years. The results of the study show that:First, daegu has more influence on an inducement to host the Mega Sports Events than incheon in terms of the province. second, there is no significant difference between groups in terms of age. Third, an inducement to host the Mega Sports Events has significant influence on conflict of local communities, a coordination effect, and full support. Finally, conflict between local communities by hosting the Mega Sports Events has significant influence on a coordination effect and full support.
