Abstract
Objective of the study. The article discusses some aspects of the mental transformation of the concept of the myth of hero Ism. This is complicated by the fact that there is no single philosophical, basic approach to the concepts of “mentality”, “national consciousness”. The concept of mythogeroism took its rather specific outlines back in Ancient Russia - this can be traced on the basis of mythological plots. But in the XX-XXI centuries, many factors appeared that obviously have a significant positive and negative impact on the formation of the concept of “heroism”. The methodological basis of the research. The theoretical foundations were based on the integration of heuristic capabilities of a number of approaches, including socio-cultural and system-cultural. The semiotic method was also used, which allowed us to consider literary texts as a system of signs modeling of the text as a sign system, and also used the structural-semiotic concept (Yu. Lotman). Research results. The key principles of the myth of heroism and the ways of formation of this concept in the public national consciousness are revealed. Prospects of the study. The need to study the Russian mentality in this context is due to the prospects for the successful implementation of the goals and objectives of social reformation.
