Abstract
The article is devoted to the artistic originality of the novel "Autumn Rain" by the Kabardian writer M. Haupshev, which was not previously the subject of a deep holistic analysis by modern literary theorists and historians. The purpose of the article is to identify the features of the author's worldview. In the course of the study, it was found that the prose of M. Haupshev shows a desire to search for new artistic solutions that allow recreating the multi-faceted character of a person.
