Abstract

The article deals with the main ways of formation and development of information society in the context of which is the formation of information culture that imposes its standards and demands of successful human adaptation to this type of society. Analyzes the basic model of the information society - an American, Singapore, Finland, and the challenges of the informationsociety that relate virutalnoy culture. Particular attention is paid to the formation of information society in Ukraine and ways to improve its effectiveness. It is noted that in the modern era of pluralistic culture area of interest is determined in the direction of cultural imperialism to cultural pluralism at both the local and global levels. The processes disclosed the information society, which become fragmented, split into separate cultural communities a cultural diaspora that are different tastes, customs and beliefs, the spread of commercialization, irony, restructuring the entire game format dominant elite culture. In the information society cultural matrix operating at a level not superficial and deep-seated factors that go into the problem of irrational, irresponsible and even subconscious. The problems of the information society, in particular, that the information society gives rise to new problems - information overload, inability to digest and process vast amounts of information to keep track of all the innovations that lead to delays and imbalance of the entire iformation system, information or desire to change its structure.
