Abstract

The problem of the formation of intellectual potential in organic interaction with the development of intellectual capital is considered, that is an important factor in ensuring the competitive advantages of economic subject in the conditions of globalization of the economy, increasing competition in Ukraine and the world. Significant changes in the items of work in the real sector of the economy at the present stage of development of society, increasing the share of intellectual activities in all spheres are analyzed. The problem of using the intellectual capital of economic subjects on the basis of intellectual resources for the formation of intellectual potential, increase of its efficiency and influence on the development of the national economy is presented. The category “intellectual capital” in scientific sources, development of intellectual resources and formation on this basis of intellectual potential of economic subjects are analyzed. The essence of intellectual capital as a combination of knowledge, information, experience, qualification and motivation of staff, organizational capabilities, channels and technologies of communication, which as a result of its transformation into objects of intellectual property is capable to create additional benefits and provide competitive advantages of the organization. The link between the categories of “intellectual resources”, “intellectual capital”, “intellectual potential” is generalized and classified, they are considered as a dynamic system for creation and introduction of innovations in economic activity in order to provide competitive advantages. The efficiency of national economies at the present stage of society development is related to innovative development on the basis of intellectual resources and intellectual capital is proved, as strategic factors of economic growth, and requires the economic agents of new approaches and strategies in order to create sustainable competitive advantages, which depend, first of all, on the intellectual potential of the enterprise. Intellectual potential and capital as the basis of economic development is as a key resource for competitiveness and development of economic systems.
