Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the involvement of the youth of the Kaliningrad Region in the political process. The authors study the differences between the youth groups of the region in terms of the degree of interest in politics and electoral activity. They found out that young people with secondary specialized education, as well as respondents, who are neutral about the policy of the authorities, most often do not show interest in political life and do not participate in voting. The authors identify main reasons contributing to the refusal of various social groups of young people in the Kaliningrad Region to participate in electoral practices.
