Abstract

Introduction. The article substantiates that formation of the readiness of future specialists in the social field for social and pedagogical activities for sus-tainable development of personality, social groups and society (which is an important condition of the effective-ness of their professional activity in the context of modern civilization challenges) requires strengthening practical component of future specialists training, in particular, using potential of all kinds of practice to develop such readiness.The purpose of the article is to summarize the experi-ence of organizing and implementing the educational practice of higher education students, majoring in Social Work in H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University as well as determining its potential in future social teachers and workers training for professional activities in the context of sustainable development.The methods of analysis, synthesis and design for development of educational practice program; generaliza-tion of the experience;observation and expert evaluation method for determining the results ofthe work are used in the article.Results: It is proved that the effectiveness of future so-cial teachers and workers training for social and pedagog-ical activities in the context of sustainable development is ensured by integration of the idea of sustainable devel-opment with the content of higher social-pedagogical education during the whole study period with simultane-ous gaining the experience in the studied area in the process of practical activity, as well as gaining the experi-ence of creating a spiritually full stimulating and creative environment during organizing social and educational events. It is shown that interaction with such environment promotes activation of personal-social, spiritual-creative and subject-activity development of pupils, encourages asserting themselves through positive actions, promotes self-awareness of individual as responsible creator of his own life.Originality. The possibilities of educational practice for acquiring by future specialists of the social field experi-ence in the development and implementation of social and educational developmental and motivational measures to stimulate sustainable development of children in difficult life circumstances in the centers of social and psychologi-cal rehabilitation are revealed.Conclusion. The results of the work proved that educa-tional practice contributed to the formation of competence-creative component of future specialists in the social field readiness to work for sustainable development of individ-ual and social groups. In particular, it contributed to the development of projective, communicative-stimulating, organizational and managerial skills of future specialists, as well as mastering the art of persuasion, the elements of oratory, screenwriting and acting, which is extremely important for the social teacher as a specialist whose mission is social upbringing of the younger generation.
