Abstract

The article considers the features and structure of the algorithm of change management in the educational process of the general secondary education institution.  It is determined that changes are manifested in all activities of the educational institution, in particular, in structural units of the school, management system, specifics of functioning, applied educational technologies, organizational culture, behavior patterns and values of the teaching staff, etc.  It is established that change is a continuous process that takes place according to the current situations that occur under the influence of various trends in the external environment.  It is determined that the level of change management efficiency directly depends on a clear algorithm of management processes.  It has been found that change management can be done using technology or a clear algorithm.  The technology is always algorithmic, and it is considered as an automated process, that under the condition of consistent implementation in compliance with the requirements gets a constant identical result.  Accordingly, the elements of the technological process can be called an algorithm.  The characteristics of the algorithm of change management in general secondary education are determined based on the analysis of the achievements of domestic and foreign management.  The algorithm has the following properties: division into clear, consistent stages of action; the possibility of using the algorithm for the implementation of typical tasks in the general secondary education institution; clear actions with time limitation; obtaining the desired result provided that the actions are performed.  The algorithm for implementing changes has been developed. It contains the following five stages preparation, involvement, implementation, correction, and consolidation of changes.  Each stage consists of certain elements.  The experimental study of the constructed algorithm efficiency is carried out and the content of each stage is specified.  It is emphasized that the principal can change the order of stages of the proposed algorithm depends on the specifics of changes and their scale in the educational institution.
