Abstract

At the beginning of the 21st century the Russian society found itself in a deep crisis. Russia is experiencing a period of a confused identity. This can be noticed even in the national symbols: the Royal National Emblem, the Soviet anthem, the Russian words. To overcome this crisis the Russians need to develop a national idea. The lack of a national idea cannot contribute to a national identity of the Russian youth. It is very bad for the future of the country. Modern society wants the young people to be moral, well educated, healthy and patriotic. For this purpose it is indispensible to develop moral principle for the youth, i.e. the ideal.
