Abstract

The article presents the results of research a politician’s ima-ge by foreign and russian citizens living in London (The Uni- ted Kingdom). For this purposes Russian president Vladimir Putin, the prime-minister of Great Britain David Cameron and the USA president Barak Obama were selected. The comparative analysis of audience perception of politician’s images shows specific features of perception for each offered person. Despite the negative image of Russian president and Russia in general in mass consciousness, the focus is placed on the increasing of critical climate referring to the UK’s and the US’ public authorities among the english-speaking population and the growth of positive ratings to the Russian leader. The audi- ence retains an ability of self-recognition of happening and forms different vision of politician in realty.
