Abstract

The present study examines the concept of modern methods of maintenance of mechanical installations. The method of the study is the secondary review of the literature and, in particular, the areas of Total Productive Maintenance, through an examination of its history, overall equipment performance, the Kaizen method and the Pareto analysis, as well as the WWBLA method and the diagram. Fishbone and 5S. The review then examines the six major losses and average failure times, as well as overall quality management, TPM implementation and 5S implementation, and finally the psychological and ethical factors of Total Productive Maintenance.
