Abstract

This study was conducted for the purpose of understanding the factors thatinfluence the social skills of Generation Z youth volunteer activities in the pandemic era. Thesubjects were currently surveyed for two weeks from October 10 to October 23, 2023,focusing on high school volunteers in Gwangju Metropolitan City, and 560 cases were analyzed using spss 26.0. The results of the study showed that youth volunteer activities andsatisfaction with volunteer activities had a significant impact on youth social development. Based on the research results, the need to diversify volunteer activity programs to strengthenthe social skills of youth, support club activities for volunteer activities, and provide variousopportunities was suggested. It is believed that the production of a manual to standardizeyouth volunteer activities will have a major impact on the development of youth social skillsand interpersonal relationships.
