Abstract

The article discusses the evolution of views on a person and the main provisions of behavioral economics. Particular attention is paid to the formation of the Russian scientific school in the field of behavioral economic theory. On the basis of the methodology of behavioral economics, new determinants of human economic behavior in the complex modern world are investigated, the reasons for making irrational decisions are substantiated. It is concluded that it is necessary to include cognitive-­psychological determinants in economic models in order to improve their predictive functions and bring them closer to real life.
