Abstract
This article analyzes the use of Web 2.0 tools in education. Also the trends and studies conducted on Web 2.0 education are reviewed. The study is the result of the initial study of selected literature on Web 2.0 technologies in education. An attempt is made to study varied literature related to this topic. Previous research on some types of tools has been widely available, such as weblogs, wikis, and social networking sites. Tools such as multimedia technology, syndication of content, AJAX, social bookmarking are less visited. Also, the article presents how it is possible to study comparative studies of various instruments, taking into account their pedagogical relevance. The feature of Web 2.0 technology is that they offer costeffective solutions for their integration.
