치매환자를 위한 u-Health Care 시스템 개발

Abstract

치매와 같은 노인성 정신질환 환자들에게 운동량과 일광량은 환자의 투약량과 조절과 진료에 있어 중요한 단서가 된다. 따라서 환자들의 안전과 건강한 삶을 위해 일상생활의 건강정보 모니터링이 필수적이다. 이러한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 환자에게는 휴대가 간편하고 항상 착용 가능한 센서 디바이스와 데이터를 모니터링할 서버의 구성이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 치매환자의 건강정보를 실시간으로 모니터링하고 관리하기 위해 환자가 착욕하는 시계형 디바이스(스마트 시계)와 서버시스템을 개발했다. 본 논문에서 개발한 스마트시계는 GPS, 가속도센서, 조도센서를 포함하며 환자의 위치 추적, 운동량, 일광량을 측정해 환자의 실시간 건강정보를 취득 할 수 있다. 서버시스템은 스마트시계를 통해 취득한 센서 데이터를 통해 의사, 보호자가 모니터링 할 수 있는 웹 서버와 센서 데이터의 분석 알고리즘을 포함한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 데이터 분석 알고리즘은 가속도센서를 통해 취득한 환자의 움직임에서 걸음 수를 검출해 운동량 정보를 취득하며 이를 검증하기 위해 빠른 걸음, 느린 걸음, 보통 걸음에 해당하는 3가지 경우로 실험한 결과 96%의 정확도를 보였다. 본 논문을 통해 개발된 치매환자를 위한 u-Health Care 시스템을 적용한다면 치매환자들에게 더 질 높은 의료서비스를 제공할 수 있을 것이다. For patients who have senile mental disorder such as dementia, quantity of excercise and amount of sunlight are important clue for dose and the treatment. Therefore, monitoring health information of daily life is necessary for patients' safety and healthy life. Portable & wearable sensor device and server configuration monitoring data are needed to provide these services for patients. Watch-type device(smart watch) which patients wear and server system are developed in this paper. Smart watch developed includes GPS, accelerometer and illumination sensor, and can obtain real time health information by measuring the position of patients, quantity of exercise and amount of sunlight. Server system includes the sensor data analysis algorithm and web server that doctor and protector can monitor through sensor data acquired from smart watch. The proposed data analysis algorithm acquires quantity of exercise information and detects step count in patients' motion acquired from acceleration sensor and to verify this, the three cases with fast pace, slow pace, and walking pace show 96% of the experimental result. If developed u-Healthcare System for dementia patients is applied, more high-quality medical service can be provided to patients.
