Abstract

In this study, the elastic wave was detected by the pencil lead break and tensile test using a stainless steel sheet with a thickness of 1 mm transformed by cold rolling. The detected elastic wave was analyzed by the time-frequency analysis method using Labview. The elastic wave detected from the pencil lead break and tension could be characterized by time-frequency analysis using Labview. As the degree of cold rolling increased, the amount of martensite increased and the dominant frequency decreased.
