Abstract

The purpose of this study was first to examine social interest and the expansion of itsconcept, and secondly, it aims to prepare basic data necessary for this by proposinggroup counseling as a solution to promote social interest as a counseling approach to thealienation we are facing in the post-corona era. carried out. Adler argued that humans,as social beings, are healthy when they pursue social interest. In counseling, groupcounseling can provide a framework for practicing these social interest. In future research,it is necessary to specify the detailed methodological approach of group counseling topromote social interest, and to examine empirically what kind of role and function itactually plays.
