Abstract

The potential problems of the assimilation of the Serbian population in Romania and peripheral areas obliged cultural workers to investigate older and newer layers of cultural history with increased attention. With that intention, the magazine Orginations (2015–) was launched in copublishing by the Association of Serbs in Romania (Center for Scientific Research and Culture of Serbs in Romania) and the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Nis. The effort of this review is to follow the contributions in the previous issues of the journal Orginations and to point out the dominant thematic areas and classify the contributions. Linguistic topics, ethnological topics, literary- scientific topics and a complex of historical and sociological topics showed that contributions in the journal Orginations can be divided into: overviews, works of the theoretical-methodological type and rounded lexicographic definitions.
