Abstract

The paper describes the life, key works and ideas of Panagiotis Kondylis, one of the most underappreciated Western philosophers of the 20th century. The primary focus is on Kondylis’ theory of the New Era, in particular on his concepts of intellectualism (as opposed to rationalism), rehabilitation of sensibility, unifying philosophy and conservatism.
