Abstract

The establishment of intellectual property in the law as an independent object of civil law has created conditions for independent participation in the civil turnover of the results of intellectual activity and obtaining material benefits from their use. The independent material value of the possession of an exclusive right to the result of intellectual activity consists precisely in the ability to bring income to its owner. It is necessary to learn to understand the legal essence and, consequently, to understand how this object is applied in civil law, protected, based on the fact that intellectual property has a dual nature.
