Abstract

The production of high energy rare earth-cobalt permanent magnet family is greatly increased every year, because of recent evolution of electric industry. The short supply of relatively expensive Sm and Co urges to develop rare earth-Fe-B magnet materials with (BH)max=40 MGOe. It is expected that the rare earth-Fe-B permanent magnets will be produced in large quantities as a low cost and high energy permanent magnet.
